A prosthetic specialist from the United States has helped five young Mongolians to walk again unaided. John Dieli, a top prosthetist and orthotist, together with his Mongolian partner doctor Kh.Erdenebat from the National Trauma and Orthopaedic Research Centre, has been helping young people regain their confidence by using prosthetic legs.

The Ed Nef Foundation based in Washington D.C. has been implementing the project that helps people regain their daily life with artificial limbs.

Doctor Kh.Erdenebat is now working to fully introduce the project in Mongolia.
