In the Mongolian capital, summer is the season of sunshine, fresh air, the traditional Naadam festival – and cold water as pipes are repaired and engineering work undertaken. The Ulaanbaatar Heating Network Company has announced that the hot water supply will be cut off for three months during the season’s repair and maintenance work. The hot water supply to apartments of in the Moscow District and 1st District of the Mongolian capital will be cut off from 16 May to 15 September.
In addition, hot water will be shut-down for two months from 16 May to 16 July in apartments of Saruul Altai, Ulaankhuaran, the 16th District, and the Bayanzurkh District, behind the Military Palace of Culture.
