Ulaanbaatar City Administration has decided to furnish a length of 950 meters of street from the East Central Intersection on Peace Avenue in the Bayanzurkh District to the Sansar Circle.  Known as the ‘Model Street’, the aim is to set a benchmark for replication across the capital.

In order to implement the project, kiosks located along the road have been removed following demonstrations.  The construction of the ‘Model Street’ is still continuing. Currently, there are 153 trees; lights and barriers have been installed along with parking space for 150 cars.
