Recently, a Mongolian delegation led by Ulaanbaatar Mayor S.Batbold, visited Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia in North China. During the visit, business representatives from the two cities signed an MoU and agreed to cooperate on tourism and urban development.

Mongolian and Inner Mongolian enterprises are to unite in trading their products on foreign markets.

It has been 27 years since Ulaanbaatar established twin-city relations with Hohhot.
