B.Bulgan, better known as the wife of the famous S.Zorig has been questioned again by Mongolia’s General Intelligence Authority and on Wednesday  18 April signed various secret documents. B.Bulgan is the only witness to the murder of S.Zorig, who was one of  the leaders of Mongolia’s 1990 Democratic Revolution.

Her lawyer, Ts.Guyenbat, said that B.Bulgan did not perjure her statement over S.Zorig murder case. Because she has signed the classified documents materials no more information can be given’.

Last year, Ts.Amgalanbaatar, B.Sodnomdarjaa and T.Chimgee were sentenced to 24-25 years imprisonment for brutally murdering S.Zorig on 2 October  1998. Since that fateful day twenty years ago, there has been endless speculation and conjecture regarding what happened: was it manslaughter, a contract killing – and if so, who was behind it – or something else? The question now is, why does Mongolia’s General Intelligence Authority require B.Bulgan’s silence on the matter?
