The Government of Mongolia has sent 350 sets of 100g Pancypsin-ointment packs to the Russian citizens injured in the fire in Kemerovo shopping centre.
Pancypsin-ointment is made by a Mongolian pharmaceutical factory and is an anti-inflammatory anaesthetic.
Mongolian Minister of Health D. Sarangerel met with Russian Ambassador to Mongolia Iskander Azizov. Mr Azizov expressed his gratitude for the government and people of Mongolia for providing assistance in such a hard time and said emphatically that the ointments will not only help them physically but also support them mentally.
The fire in the Winter Cherry shopping centre in the Siberian city of Kemerovo occurred on 25 March killing 64 people, including 41 children. The fire occurred on the top floor of the mall, which had children’s playground and movie theaters on the 3rd and 4th floors.
The Russian Federation and Mongolia have cooperated for many years in the sphere of medicine and medical training. In this connection Ambassador Azizov said that Russia will train15 doctors and specialists on maternal and child health in Moscow.
