Mongolia and Switzerland have signed a visa-free agreement for diplomatic and official passport holders.
The deal was signed in Ulaanbaatar earlier today (6 April) between Mongolian Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar and his visiting Swiss counterpart Ignazio Cassis.
The two foreign ministers also exchanged views on a wide range of issues in a bid to strengthen bilateral ties and expand cooperation in various fields such as politics, trade and investment.
Cassis arrived in the Mongolian capital earlier in the day for a three-day visit, which marked the first time that a Swiss foreign minister has ever visited Mongolia since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1964.
