Orkhon, a province in the north of Mongolian has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation with the South Korean city Yeosu . Within the framework of the MoU, which was signed late in 2017, the Yeosu administration agreed to receive workers from Orkhon. The two sides have arranged to meet to discuss job conditions and the monthly salaries of the Mongolian guest workers. Unfortunately, this meeting is not going to take place for some time due to a local election which will be held in Yeosu on 23 June. The city of 295 thousand is located on the southern coast of the peninsula; the economy is dominated by fisheries, fish processing and tourism.
