
Mr. Fischer has been working in Mongolia since 2007, and Mr. Batkhuu praised him for his contributions to the two nations’ cooperation and development. During the meeting, the ambassador told G.Batkhuu that, “Looking back at the last four years, we have been very active and have had memorable times together. In recent years, Mongolia and Germany’s cooperation has reached a new stage, especially in the fields of economy and politics. We have laid a foundation for future cooperation”.
G.Batkhuu expressed the hope that Mongolia and Germany would continue to cooperate. He said he hoped Mongolia would attract investment from Germany, increase the number of Mongolians studying in Germany, train Mongolian technical professionals in German, and study the German model of environmental protection.
Mr. Fischer worked in India, Italy, the United States, Guinea, Sierra Leone, and Cambodia before coming to Mongolia.
