The head of the 411^th
Detention Center for children in Zaisan has been dismissed after six inmates
there escaped on July 31. Four of the children have since been captured. Police
are still looking for the other two.

The General Office to Enforce
Court Decisions investigated the incident and on August 10 decided to dismiss
the chief, Col. D.Davaa-Ochir, as well as Deputy Chief Col.P.Khosbayar and
three other officials. A guard who was on duty on July 31 was also dismissed,
and three other workers at the center were docked three months’ salary.
