Mongolian state-honoured artist, opera singer E.Amartuvshin has been nominated in the ‘young singer’ category for the 2018 International Opera Awards. The red carpet and awards ceremony will be held on Monday 9 April.
Opera’s answer to the Oscars, the 2018 International Opera Awards sponsored by Mazars is a red-carpet ceremony honouring outstanding achievement on stage, backstage and in the pit, with awards including singer of the year, opera company of the year and the annual lifetime achievement award. In addition there are awards for young singer and recognised emerging talent. Over 100 candidates are running for twenty different awards. Nominations are submitted by opera audiences and professionals worldwide.
Founded by opera lover and philanthropist Harry Hyman, the Awards exist not only to celebrate established stars, but to support the next generation of talent.
