Since dispatching two military observers in 2002, Mongolia has become a significant contributor to UN peacekeeping missions around the world as well as participating in some non-UN operations.

From January 26th, the Mongolian Military Museum will have an exhibition that displays Mongolian peacekeeping operation.

Among the exhibits, it is expected that a that saved a Mongolian peacekeeper’s life will attract a lot of attention. This helmet was worn by B. Erdenebold during Operation Iraqi Freedom and managed to stop a sniper’s bullet.
