A political cooperation meeting between Mongolia and France was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs earlier today (12 January) following a six-year break. D.Davaasuren, secretary at the Mongolian MFA co-hosted the meeting with Thierry Manu, Director of the Asia-Pacific region at the French Foreign Ministry.

As a result of the meeting, the French delegation reported that they will be increasing investment in Mongolia in the following ways:

– To support French enterprises which are actively operating in Mongolia

– To support Mongolia through the newly established European Union Representative Office in Ulaanbaatar.

The 55th anniversary of the beginning of cooperation between Mongolia and the French Republic will be celebrated in 2020.
