would be organized in Ulaanbaatar between August 24 and 27, with President
Ts.Elbegdorj as patron and with support from the Government. The Worldwide
Mongolians’ Assembly, which was first held in 2006 to commemorate the 800th
anniversary of the Great Mongol State, will kick off the festival.
Minister for Foreign Affairs and
Trade G.Zandanshatar has said all Mongolian nations would observe this year’s anniversary
of various events in Mongolian history. There are about ten million ethnic Mongolians
in the world at present. The organizers expect 120 delegates from 28 countries
to take part in the conference. They will discuss issues related to peace in
Northeast Asia.
