The Mongolian government has donated a total of MNT 25 million to cover the costs of cancer surgery for the famous Mongolian author B.Lkhagvasuren. The money is being sourced from the following agencies:  MNT 10 million from Government Reserve Fund, MNT 10 million from Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and Sports as well as MNT 5 million from Health Ministry.   

According to his family, over MNT 100 million is needed for B.Lkhagvasuren’s surgery.

Mongolian state-honoured author and ‘poet of the people’ B.Lkhagvasuren is expected to undergo surgery on 10 January, 2018.
