The head of the Livestock Policy
Implementation Board of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry,
P.Gankhuyag, has told Uls Turiin Toim that hay preparation is following Government
directives. The Ministry has forwarded these guidelines to all the aimags. They
have also been allotted a target in both hay and fodder preparation.

Provision of water in pasture
lands is being improved. The measures adopted include drilling wells and 65% of
the target in aimags has been reached. All animals will be vaccinated at an
estimated cost of MNT3 billion.
