A mother of two has given birth to triplets in Mongolia’s northern Orkhon Province. B.Solongo, a worker at the Erdenet Mining Company, gave birth to two boys and a girl on 29 November; she already has two boys aged 5 and 7.

According to B.Erdenebulgan, the chief gynecologist at the Regional Diagnosis and Treatment Centre, this is the first time in 13 years since triplets were last born in the Orkhon Province; the last occasion was in 2004, when N.Gerelmaa gave birth to tree babies.
