Grand Champion ‘Yokozuna’ Hakuho finished the professional sumo November tournament on Sunday, with 14 wins and one defeat. The Mongolian champion, whose real name is M.Davaajargal, clinched his 40th tournament victory in last years’ tournament in the city of Fukuoka.

In an NHK television, the Mongolian ‘Yokozuna’ said: ‘I missed the sumo tournaments in March and September. This year, I faced many difficulties. I have tried going on a diet and it has had some good results. My father participated in the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. I am also preparing to participate in the 2020 Olympics for the title of champion.’
