On Tuesday (9^th of May), the Vice President of Vietnam, Mrs Dang Thị Ngọc Thinh, participated in a Mongolian-Vietnamese business forum in Ulaanbaatar. Mrs Dang Thị Ngọc Thinh, is currently making an official visit to Ulaanbaatar at the invitation of Mongolian Prime Minister J.Erdenebat. The visit will last from 7th to 10th of May.

Mrs Dang Thị Ngọc Thinh spoke at the opening ceremony of business forum, saying that she hopes the bi-lateral deal between on trade, investment and economic co-operation will be a great success.

According to a Vietnam source,the trade volume with Mongolia reached USD 58 milllion in 2016. Mongolia imported more than USD 40 million of rice, sugar, canned foods and telecommunications equipment.

The two sides have expressed interest in future cooperation in the field of natural resources, food and goods.
