Minister for Health S.Lambaa yesterday received doctors from the Wong-wa University in South Korea and two Mongolian doctors who had studied robotic surgery there. They are scheduled to perform a robotic surgery at the Railway Hospital today. Similar surgery will be done at Hospital No. 2 and other places.
The Korean doctors said the university would train more Mongolian doctors and was ready to perform robotic surgery on Mongolians who went there. Once the practice becomes common here, Mongolians will not have to go abroad for expensive surgery and treatment, noted the Minister.
