The Women’s Leadership
Foundation has recently included new goals in its program, aiming to achieve
wider empowerment of women as next year’s election comes closer. The organization
feels that having more women in positions of leadership would have a positive
impact on society, the family and on human rights. It has established young
women’s associations and also a policy research center.

The organization wishes to
monitor the contents of secondary school books and lessons to ensure that the
right emphasis is placed on women’s position and rights.
