Mongolian Ambassador to
India V.Enkhbold has said last week’s state visit of the Indian President, Mrs.
Pratibha Devinsingh Patil, took bilateral relations to a new stage. The two
countries have convergence of opinion on many important issues and the
agreements signed during her visit cover planning, development, reform, defense
and exchange of journalists. India will finance some projects here, and will
grant scholarship to more Mongolian students and would ease visa regulations
for lamas.

India expressed its
happiness at Mongolia assuming the chair of Community of Democracies. Businessmen
from there have also expressed their interest in investing in large projects.
