The President of the
International Criminal Court, Sang Hyun Song, was in Mongolia from July 27 to
30. He held talks with his host, Judge General of the State Supreme Court and
Chief of the General Courts Council, Ts.Zorig, on expansion of cooperation
between the two organizations, and on the possibility of having a Mongolian
judge on the court.

He also called on President
Ts. Elbegdorj, who has declared a moratorium on capital punishment in Mongolia.
