Following orders issued by the Mayor on July
20, several organizations have been working to prevent the occurrence of marmot
plague in Ulaanbaatar. The program will continue until October 15.

Among those who are
participating in the program are the Police and the Traffic Police, the
Emergency Office, the Civil Airline Office, Ulaanbaatar Railway, health organizations,
the State Specialized Inspecting Agency and the Environment Office. The
Research Center for Contagious Disease has said it is ready for any emergency situation.
