The 11th annual International Mongolian Studies Conference was held at the Embassy of Mongolia in Washington D.C. on 27-28^th of January. Over 80 academics and diplomats from the USA, China and Russia  participated in the conference. The event has been taking place since 2007 annually. This year, the event was special since 2017 marks the 30^th anniversary of the establishment of relation between Mongolia and the USA; the conference, therefore, focused on important topics regarding Mongolian studies and relations between the two countries. The conference was broadcast live online.
