The National Statistics Committee
said on July 10 that the consumer price index rose 0.4% in June over May. Core
inflation stood at 9.8%.

The state budget has a surplus
but unemployment has increased not only in Ulaanbaatar but also in the
provinces. Foreign trade balance showed a deficit of USD193.2 million in June.
