J.Erdenebat, Prime Minister of Mongolia has received Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is son as well as advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates. At the meeting, Mr Erdenebat noted that two countries are focusing on strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation and that high level meetings are becoming more regular. Also he praised the USD13 million Taishir Hydropower project financed by UAE as being very important for producing electrical power in Mongolia.

In response, the Sheikh said that opening of the Embassy in Ulaanbaatar is very useful for cooperation and building relations. Furthermore he expressed the intention to increase  tourism and direct flights between the two countries.
