Buildings and structures that have been constructed in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia, without the appropriate planning permission are to be demolished. The Ulaanbaatar Specialized Inspection Authority has issued an order to pull down 27 buildings and structures that breached the construction law and have not already been demolished to date despite repeated warnings. One example applies to the buildings which were constructed where the regulation on the minimum distance between buildings has been ignored resulting in sunlight being blocked out from adjacent apartments and dwellings.

The demolition date has not been set and is pending authorisation from the mayor.
