Officers of the Mongolian National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) have been part of the United Nations peacekeeping force in South Sudan since 2012. On 21^st of September, officials of NEMA met with officers, who have been cooperating with the ‘V’ rotation of Mongolian peacekeeping troops. A total of 26 officers of the NEMA have been awarded for their peacekeeping role in South and North Sudan.

More than 120 NEMA officers have participated  in peacekeeping activities since 2012.
