Welfare Service Department Chief at
the Ministry of Social Welfare and Labor D. Choijilsuren has said that the
Motherland Allowance will from now on be distributed through the Savings Bank.
All related data held by Khan Bank, which was responsible for the work so far,
have been transferred to the Savings Bank. Sixty new branches of the Savings
Bank have been opened in soums that did not have one.

The Government will give
MNT500,000 in cash to every citizen, of which MNT120,000 was paid in 2010. Since
January this year, the monthly rate has been raised to MNT21,000. The final
payment will be made before June, 2012.
