The XV Summer Paralympic Games of athletes with disabilities is being held from 7th September to 18th September 2016 in Rio de Janeiro. On the 8th of September, two Mongolian judokas competed.

International master of sports B.Uugankhuu won a bronze medal in the men’s 60 kg category. A total of 12 judokas with visual impairment are competing in this category. B.Uugankhuu won bronze medal over Ibrahimov Ramin from Azerbaijan who was a gold medalist in the 2008 and 2012 Paralympics. Japan and Uzbekistan will compete in the men’s 60 kg category for the gold medal competition.
