Deputy Speaker G.Batkhuu yesterday received Ukrainian Ambassador Yu. V. Kostenko and exchanged opinions with him on bilateral cooperation and development of inter-parliament relations.

Batkhuu said that the present cooperation between the countries in culture, science and agriculture can encompass other sectors also. He also noted ways in which relations between the parliamentary groups in the two countries can be strengthened.

Kostenko said better technological cooperation was mooted during the recent visit of President Ts.Elbegdorj to Ukraine. Ukraine plans to have an embassy in Mongolia in the near future. He also called for plans to fittingly observe the 20th anniversary of cooperation between Mongolia and Ukraine in January, 2012.
