Today (14 November), the Mongolian Parliament approved a draft of the 2018 State Budget, presented by Cabinet on Friday 27 October. According to the bill, the ruling Mongolian People’s Party (MPP) is fulfilling its election promise of providing cash totaling MNT 164.2 billion to 648 thousand children and to provide a monthly allowance to mothers who are at home caring for infants under the age of three. The mothers will receive MNT 50 thousand (USD 20.4) monthly.

In addition, families which have three or more children will receive MNT 240 thousand (USD 98) once per quarter.
