An MPP team headed by MP and
former Prime Minister S.Bayar is attending a meeting of the Socialist
International now being held in Athens. The meeting is discussing economic and
political developments in the world, especially the economic problems of
Greece, the Arab spring, and the accident at the Fukushima nuclear station.

The team is meeting senior
functionaries of Socialist International to discuss preparatory work for the
meeting of its Asia Pacific section in Ulaanbaatar on October 7 and 8. It has
also met with Mizuho Fukushima, head of the Social Democrat Party of Japan and
an MP, to discuss cooperation between the MPP and her party.
