The Chief of the Standing Committee on State Structure
and also a member of the special team on the draft law on election,
J.Sukhbaatar, has said that MPs from DP and MMP have met several times to
hammer out an agreement on the draft. He was hopeful that that both parties would
make some concession to facilitate a consensus.

He said there can be no meeting of the Standing
Committees or of Parliament as long as the DP group stays away from both, but
working groups are meeting as usual to discuss several pending draft laws.
