The Supreme Court on Friday granted permission to the newly formed political group to call itself MPRP. The court also said the group will be registered as a political party under that name.  MP and General Secretary of the group, Ts.Shinebayar, and its secretary, N.Udval, had requested the Supreme Court for the registration on June 20.

The Supreme Court did not release any further detail, nor give any reason behind its decision which comes after the Constitutional Court recently ruled that Article #15 of the Law on Political Parties does not violate the Constitution. It says that in the event a party changes its name, members who do not agree to the change will not have the right to use the previous name.
