The Asian Development Bank has agreed to help The
Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy and the State Property Committee in
preparing the tender for international companies to help build the 5^th
power plant as public- private-partnership, in negotiating terms and conditions
with the applicants and in making the selection.

Minister for Mineral Resources and Energy D.Zorigt and an ADB representative
signed a memorandum of understanding to this effect on Thursday. The tender would
be for three teams to work in legal, financial and technical spheres. The
selection is likely to be made by the end of this year.
