Managing officials and workers of
Baganuur mine are against somebody chosen on political grounds succeeding the
present Executive Director who retires soon. They held a meeting on Monday to
formulate their views on the impending succession and then issued a note to
Minister for Mineral Resources and Energy D.Zorigt and Chief of the State
Property Committee D.Sugar. It says the appointment should not be influenced by
political lobbying and workers at the mine would not accept anybody from
outside the coal sector.
