The Mongolian National Olympic
Committee (MNOC) and Olympic Solidarity are jointly implementing a program to
prepare 11 athletes in six disciplines for the 2012 London Olympic Games. The
MNOC has been taking up such programs since 2000. It offered special training
facilities to eight athletes before the Beijing Games in 2008. E.Badar-Uugan won
a gold medal and O.Gundegmaa a silver medal in Beijing and the MNOC feels the
program contributed to their success.
