The questions MP S.Byambatsogt asked Prime Minister
S.Batbold on implementation of the New Creation program were answered in
Parliament by Minister for Road, Transportation and Urban Development
Kh.Battulga on May 27. MPs were told 75,000 apartments would be built in
Denjiin Myanga, Yarmag, Buyant Ukhaa and Bayangoliin areas in Ulaanbaatar as
part of the program and the Mayor’s Office has already established a working
group to arrange for relocation of households from these ger districts
identified for development. Deputy Mayor D.Ganbold added the working group will
start work in June. The Government has allocated MNT350 billion for
infrastructure to serve the new apartment blocks and some work has begun.

Battulga added that auto roads
would link all aimag centers with one another and the Ministry has already
prepared the blueprint of building altogether 1,377 km of auto roads.  Another 4,500 km of such roads is planned. He
added that domestic cement production is not sufficient to meet the demands of
the road construction program.

MP Byambatsogt felt that the
progress on implementing the program is better than in some other cases and
asked the Government to pay more attention to the provinces.
