Ts.Elbegdorj will visit Russia from May 30 to June 3 and will hold talks with
President D.Medvedev, Premier V.Putin and other officials. He will also visit
St. Petersburg to meet with Mongolists and to see a collection of Mongolia-related
historical and cultural items. Elbegdorj will be in Khalimag but his plans to
visit Tuva had to be abandoned following a Russian decision that it had no
proper facilities to receive a big plane.
The President would be accompanied by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and
Trade G. Zandanshatar, for Defense L.Bold, for Road, Transportation and Urban
Development Kh.Battulga, MP R.Amarjargal, the Head Lama of Gandantegchilen
Temple, D.Choijamts, chess player B.Munguntuul, businessmen and journalists.
