The Ministry of
Social Welfare and Labor is cooperating with the Ministries of Road,
Transportation and Urban Development and of Mineral Resources and Energy to
train professional workers to meet their needs. It has made a study of the
likely demand for skilled workers and has received from the other two
Ministries lists of organizations willing to train workers on the job.
It has selected 45 construction organizations in Ulaanbaatar and 19 in the
provinces to train 1,660 and 625 workers respectively. Similarly, 10 road
repairing organizations will train 304 workers and 19 mining organizations 750.
