The outside wall of the new building of the Ministry of Finance was damaged by the strong winds on May 10. Puma Construction LLC built the 10-floor building at a cost of MNT4.4 billion, and inspectors of the State Specialized Inspecting Agency gave it a no-objection certificate in March, 2011.

How could a new construction be so damaged only after two months?

Our experts are trying to ascertain why it happened. We shall meet with officials of the Ministry and shall repair the damage.

When will the repair start?

The building has a 3-year guarantee and our company will do all repairs during this period.

How could inspectors certify that building standards had been followed?

We did not in any way influence them. However, we accept responsibility and shall repair the damage.
