The Chamber of Civil Matters of the State Supreme Court yesterday rejected a plea from the Civil Will and Green Parties to register their alliance. The court ruled that the decisions of the special General Assemblies of both parties that had approved the alliance had not been sent to the court. The GP had also failed to keep the court informed of its decision to stop operating as an independent unit following the alliance.

The court asked the parties to observe the legal requirements and also asked the GP to resolve its intra-party differences on the alliance with the CWP.
