Among the issues the MPP group in Parliament discussed yesterday were the sale of bonds to plug the 2011 budget deficit, the draft of a protocol to grant long term apartment loans to state officials and citizens, an agreement on a loan from the Asian Development Bank to reform higher education, and amendments to the law on stamp fees.

They approved the bonds sale and the apartment loans, and established a working group to study the actual impact of raised stamp fees on business activities.

In the coming weeks, the group will discuss draft laws on land, land cadastre, geodesy, land fees, amendments to the law prohibiting grant of license for mineral resources exploration, reducing interest rates for loans taken by SMEs and herders.
