The General Tax Office has established a working group to collect the outstanding tax dues of Altandornod Mongol LLC owned by S.V.Paushok. The gold mining company owes MNT67 billion in unpaid taxes. A court has already rejected the company’s plea for bankruptcy.
An International Arbitration Court ruled on April 28 that Paushok has to pay 68% windfall profit tax to Mongolia.
