Deputy State Prosecutor General Ts.Byambatsogt and a member of the National Human Rights Commission, P.Oyunchimeg, today signed a memorandum of cooperation to prevent human rights violation during registration of a criminal complaint, its investigation, and arrest, detention and trial.

The two sides will study how human rights are generally violated in both common and serious cases and then train those in prosecutors’ organizations to act accordingly. They will also visit jails to see if the rights of convicts are violated, and enforce compliance with recommendations of the UN Committee against Torture.
