Prime Minister S.Batbold yesterday sent his greetings, on behalf of the Government and of himself, to the media and readers on the occasion of World Press Freedom Day today. He said the day recognized journalists as the voice of truth, as also how they help readers, listeners and watchers to benefit from free media. 

He urged media staff to work for responsible, moral, humanitarian and civil journalism at a time when Mongolia is developing fast, and to act as a bridge between the Government and the people by popularizing the policies, programs and activities of the former and by reporting on the latter’s opinions and suggestions.
