Parliament yesterday decided to further discuss a draft law on right to information. The draft proposes to make information about the work of state organizations open to the public.

Some MPs wanted the law to give media more independence, but Chief of Cabinet Secretariat Ch.Khurelbaatar said this required a separate law, as media and state organizations cannot be lumped together.
