Three fires have damaged 11.2 hectares of forest so far in April. The last five years saw 759 recorded fires causing damage worth MNT496.9 billion. MNT88.8 billion was spent on extinguishing them. Since 2001, 590 hectares of forest have suffered from fires in Mongolia.
